Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: August 2026

Our Pledge

Our Commitment

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking.

As a business operating within the fresh produce sector, Peloton Produce recognises that agricultural supply chains can present a higher risk of labour exploitation, particularly in relation to seasonal, temporary, and migrant workers.

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically, with integrity, and transparency in all our business dealings. We take active steps to ensure modern slavery does not occur within our business or anywhere in our supply chains.

About Us

Peloton Produce is a supplier of fresh produce; our supply chain includes:

Growers and farms (UK and international)
Labour providers and recruitment agencies
Packhouses and processing facilities
Logistics and distribution partners

We recognise that these areas can present varying levels of risk and are committed to managing them responsibly.

Risks in Our Supply Chain

Within the fresh produce sector, the key modern slavery risks we are aware of include:

01Exploitation of seasonal and migrant agricultural workers
02Unethical practices by labour providers or recruitment agencies
03Poor working or living conditions on farms or in packhouses
04Lack of transparency in international sourcing

We take these risks seriously and incorporate them into our risk management approach.

Our Supply Chain Standards

We expect all suppliers, growers, labour providers, and business partners to meet high ethical standards. Our supplier requirements include:

Prohibition of forced, bonded, or trafficked labour
Compliance with all applicable labour laws and standards
Fair wages and safe working conditions
Ethical recruitment practices, including no worker-paid recruitment fees

We require our suppliers to apply these standards within their own supply chains.

Policies and Governance

We support our commitment to preventing modern slavery through:

A Modern Slavery Policy

A Whistleblowing Policy

Ethical sourcing and supplier standards

Responsibility for compliance sits with the Company and is supported by management at all levels.

Continuous Improvement

Peloton Produce is committed to continuously improving its approach to tackling modern slavery. This includes:

Strengthening supplier engagement
Improving visibility within our supply chains
Reviewing policies and procedures regularly
